Very few pre-1834 comedias sueltas have "illustrations" according to the use of this term following Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules. 'Illustrations' (sometimes abbreviated 'ill.') in library records, refers specifically to visual imagery depicting something contained in the text. This is less true of entremeses which more frequently had a woodcut related to the subject of play.

To make their goods more attractive, printers used wooden and metal ornaments of various sizes: headpieces, tailpieces, vignettes, fleurons, and arabesques. In non-technical terms, one may say that La hija del aire is illustrated with a woodcut depicting jousting cherubim, but the woodcut is merely decorative and does not pertain to the subject of the play. In library cataloguing terms, therefore, this is not an illustration.
