citation reference ☜☞ referencia precisa

The Citation Reference field provides a space to cite the source of information given under “General Notes.” The General Notes field in a library record is where pertinent information related to author, title, printing, or any other aspect of the work that needs clarification or elaboration is entered. Often, the facts reported in General Notes need to cite the source to have the weight of authority. In our database, most often these sources are printed books (Urzáiz Tortajada, Herrerra Navarro), library catalogues (e.g., Biblioteca Nacional de España), websites and other Internet sources (moretianos.com, Cervantes Virtual), or e-mail correspondence with scholars in the field.
