First printed under title: Disparates del rey don Alfonso de la mano horadada, in Parte diez y ocho de Comedias nuevas escogidas de los mejores ingenios, Madrid, 1662. According to the VIAF, Joseph Navarro y Armijo was a printer-bookseller active in Seville from 1734-1781? and was the principal printer to the University in Seville.
There exist two plays of this title, burlesque and serious. This is the burlesque, published in Escogidas 18(Madrid: Gregorio Rodríguez, 1662), Urzáiz Tortajada attributes it to Luis Vélez de Guevara, but mentions other candidates that had been studied.
