First printed under title: Disparates del rey don Alfonso de la mano horadada, in Parte diez y ocho de Comedias nuevas escogidas de los mejores ingenios, Madrid, 1662. There exist two plays of this title, burlesque and serious. This is the burlesque, published in Escogidas 18 (Madrid: Gregorio Rodríguez, 1662), Urzáiz Tortajada attributes it to Luis Vélez de Guevara, but mentions other candidates that had been studied.
