General Notes
Urzáiz Tortajada attributes play to Pedro Calderón de la Barca and Juan de Zabaleta.
The manuscript of this play, held by the BNE [Ms. Res/78], is in Calderón's hand from the last page of Act I onwards the rest of Act I does not match Zabaleta's handwriting or spelling in his autograph manuscript of La honra vive en los muertos (BNE, Ms. Res/62), which was written for Ascanio in 1643, and so is contemporary with Troya abrasada). E-mail communication from D.W. Cruickshank. The Series Number (Núm.) is blank.
